These decadent dairy free and vegan friendly chocolate brownies taste sublime. Serve warm or cold with your fave dollop with a sprig of fresh mint. If you want to up the choc ante, stir in a tablespoon of dairy free white, milk or dark choc pieces into the mix just before you spatula the mix into the baking tray.
1 1/2 cupsplain flour
1/2 cupcocoa powder
1 cupbrown sugar
1 cupnon-dairy milk
1 tspbaking powder
90 gvegan dark chocolate, melted
1 tspvanilla extract
1Line tray with baking paper & heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
2Mix together flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and cocoa
3Melt dark chocolate and then add to the bowl and stir in the Nuttelex, non dairy milk and vanilla and beat until shiny, creamy and smooth.
4Spatula mixture into your prepared tray, ensuring mixture is even.
5Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven until the top is no longer shiny. Check middle is cooked by inserting a knife if comes out clean they are ready.
6Let rest for at least 1/2 hour before cutting into squares and serving. Store in an airtight container.
