Halloween Mummified Choc Brownies (Dairy Free)

Delicious brownies made with vegan chocolate for a spook-a-licious Halloween treat that those with dairy or egg allergies can also enjoy.  If short on time you could also use Satin Ice White Fondant as the mummy strips.

Ingredients

1/2 cup plant based Nuttelex

2 cups plain flour

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup non-dairy milk

1 pinch salt

1 tsp baking powder

90 g vegan dark chocolate (melted)

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups vegan white chocolate chips (melted)

48 candy eyeballs

Directions

1Preheat oven to 180°C

2Mix together flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and cocoa

3Melt dark chocolate and then add to the bowl and stir in the plant based Nuttelex, non dairy milk and vanilla and beat until shiny, creamy and smooth.

4Spatula mixture into your prepared tray, ensuring mixture is even.

5Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven until the top is no longer shiny. Check middle is cooked by inserting a knife if comes out clean they are ready.

6Let rest for at least 1/2 hour before cutting into squares.

7Place vegan white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.

8Pour melted white chocolate into a piping/freezer bag, cut the tip off one corner of the bag and pipe back and forth over brownies.

9Press two candy eyes into the melted chocolate on each brownie.

10Let cool until set, then serve.
