Basil Butter (Dairy Free)

Basil Butter is a deliciously simple way to add an instant boost of flavour. Great on scrambled eggs, as a fresh twist on traditional garlic bread, or tossed through cooked pasta, roasted veggies, fish, chicken or slathered on freshly cooked corn on the cob.

TOP TIP : it can also be frozen



1/2 cup Nuttelex

1/2 cup Fresh (sweet) basil leaves (stems removed)

1 tsp Fresh garlic (minced)

1/2 tsp Black ground Pepper

1/2 tsp Lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste


1In a bowl mix Nuttelex, basil, garlic, lemon zest, salt and pepper until well combined.

2Use immediately slathered over freshly cooked corn. Or, spoon into container and refrigerate or freeze until ready to use.
