These tasty bite-sized hasselback potatoes are a simple platter-friendly dish when looking for quick and comforting party finger food or a crowd-pleasing appetiser.
TIP: This makes approx 14 bites, simply double the recipe to feed a larger crowd.
Preheat oven to 200C fan forced. Place cut potatoes in a baking dish or tray lined with baking paper.
Place two chopsticks parallel on the cutting board and place your baby potato in between the chopsticks. Using a sharp knife and the aid of two chop sticks, cut thin slices into the potatoes about 3/4 way through.
(The chopsticks help with not cutting right through the potatoes).
Place the Nuttelex & garlic in the microwave and melt for 10-15 seconds.
Mix the buttery garlic sauce well then brush potatoes with the mixture. Then top each potato the with rosemary fronts. Sprinkle generously with salt on top.
Bake for 35 minutes . When ready potatoes should look a little browned on the bottom.
When potatoes are browned, remove from the oven and sprinkle with some more freshly torn rosemary on top. Spear each potato with a toothpick or bamboo forks for easy serving.
Ideally serve warm but cold are just as scrumptious.
